Title:A Second Life

The story is told through the eyes of a 12-year-old boy named Gadeha, which means "flame" in Arabic. The moniker, which also serves as the film's Arabic title, was bestowed upon him by his dad, who left for Italy years back, embarking on the treacherous sailing trip that so many take while illegally entering Europe. This was the last time Gadeha got to hear from his father. The boy, who spends the majority of his time on the seaside with his mates, nicking phones and catcalling passers-by.
