Director Details
Born in Italy in 1992, Marta Gennari studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Turin. Her film (Merlot) won the 2018 Emile Award. She later joined La Poudriere in Valence, where she directed (Bigoudis), which was selected for several international festivals, including Annecy and Clermont-Ferrand. She has worked as a director, storyboard artist, and animator on numerous productions. In 2021, she co-founded the collective Les Optimistes, which offers introductory animation workshops.
