Yaya, Mo, and Pic are three young marmots preparing for their very first hibernation. When their parents fall asleep before finishing the tale of Affreunard, the curious trio ventures into the snowy mountains to find the famous, and perhaps not so fearsome, fox and discover how the story ends. Their search soon becomes a hilarious adventure filled with curiosity, surprises, and wintry mischief.
Director Details
Benjamin Botella is a French animation filmmaker trained at Rennes 2 University. He began his career in 1994 with the trailer for the Travelling Banlieue festival, before working as an animator and director on numerous productions for JPL Films and Vivement Lundi! His credits include La Cour des gants, Les Schlacks, Le Monde selon Malo, Bienvenue à Bric-à-Broc, Coquilles, and the two Le Quatuor à cornes films. In 2020, he directed the short Croc-Marmottes. He is currently developing a Le Quatuor à cornes feature film and the 26-minute Canal+ Kids television special Chasing Horrifox.
