When her child encounters death for the first time, a mother struggles to explain the unexplainable. Seeking refuge in the impossible logic of old cartoons, where falls are temporary and endings are rarely final, she tries to soften the reality of loss. Through this fragile escape into fantasy, the film explores grief, parenthood, and the stories we create to protect children from truths we can barely face ourselves.
