Bayan Al-Hawaj is a graduate of the University of Bahrain with a degree in Media, specializing in Radio and Television. She has a strong interest in cinema, filmmaking, and visual storytelling. Her debut film, Another Beginning, was created as her graduation project and inspired by her personal experience with her brother, who had cerebral palsy. Through the film, she seeks to highlight the lives of people with cerebral palsy and their families, sharing human experiences that deserve to be seen and heard. The documentary marks her first step into filmmaking and her commitment to bringing overlooked stories into the light.
