After hearing her mother’s tale about a monster that devours sounds, seven-year-old Woojoo becomes alarmed by a mysterious thumping coming from the apartment above. Convinced that her friend Hyunwoo is in danger, she summons his courage and knocks on the upstairs door, only to discover something she never expected.

So-hee Lee is a second-year high school student and an emerging filmmaker. She volunteers as an assistant teacher at Nodeul Night School and contributes to P1 Studio and the independent media outlet Tokkipul. She is also a member of Avant-Garde Pictures, an association of young auteur filmmakers, and the Women Directors Network. Working primarily across narrative film and documentary, Lee aspires to share warmth and compassion through the power of cinema.
