Kunao Yan Yan

Yan Kunao, a young filmmaker born in China, finished his bachelor majoring in screenwriting and now studies in Columbia University Film MFA Program. His works feature people’s relationship and one’s psychological as well as spiritual feeling in a subtle and authentic way. Affected by the director Edward Yang’s works, he started to change his style in a more modern and minimized way and try to explore the boundary of modern cinema.
