Little Puppet In The Gaps

In modern society, we all value children's ability to learn on their own, to be independent, and to explore their interests. Although at first glance this may seem like children have more freedom and agency than ever before, but what is the actual reality? What is considered learning? Who decides the limits of autonomy and freedom? Can children today become truly independent? Or are they still puppets caught up in the show?
