Morteza Ali Abasmirzaei, born in 1982, in Tehran, is an Iranian filmmaker. In 2004, he earned a B.A. in cinema with a specialization in directing. With a certification from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society in 1998, he embarked on his filmmaking journey. Morteza has created a collection of short films, documentaries, and three noteworthy feature films. His talent and dedication have earned him recognition, including a Best Cinematography nomination at the Camerimage Film Festival and the Best Directing award at the Salento Film Festival in 2018.
