Sara Naves is a film director and 2D animator based in Portugal, with a diverse portfolio that includes international short and feature films, children’s TV series, and illustrated books. She earned her BA (HONS) in Animation Production from the Arts University College at Bournemouth in 2009, specializing in traditional animation and film directing. Since 2012, she has been teaching 2D animation, character and background design, and film production at the University of Algarve. Her interests encompass drawn movement and expression, concept art, digital painting, and storyboarding.
