Suzanne

Synopsis:

Suzanne, an isolated woman in her sixties, finds her solitary life disrupted when a young woman in distress entrusts her with a baby before vanishing. As she awaits the young woman’s return, Suzanne takes on the challenge of caring for the child, navigating the unexpected responsibilities that come with it.

About the Directors:

After studying political sciences, Emilie de Monsabert studies directing at the Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires. She directed two films while studying: Burn Out, which got Student Prize of the Poitiers Film Festival, and Burn baby burn, adapted from the theater piece of Carine Lacroix. Back in France, she joined the Screenwriting Workshop of La FEMIS and directed In the right direction, which got the Directing Prize of the Nikon Film Festival, and Till the music stops, both broadcasted on Canal+ and awarded at many festivals.
