Fahad Al Maimani is an academic at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Muscat, he teaches Film Production in the College of Creative Industries. Born in Mutrah in 1988, he pursued his studies at the University of Leicester in the UK. As a board member of the Oman Film Society, he chairs the Local and International Cooperation Committee. He founded the AKS University Film Festival, AKS Platform for Short Films, and the Photography and Cinema Clubs at his university. Additionally, he serves as the CEO of Qimra Digital Media and has directed films showcased at major international festivals, including those in Saudi Arabia, Russia, the UK, Milan, and Spain.
