Maryam Al Abbad is a director from Kuwait with diverse experience as a First Assistant Director in Kuwait, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. She has worked on TV series such as Amr Ikhla’a 2, and Thahabat Ma’a Alma’a. She received the Kuwait Creative Award and the Youth Excellence Award in 2024. While working as an administrator at the Kuwait Industrial Bank, she directed short films including The Abaya, The Stranger, and The Job. She won second place at the Kuwait Film Festival and is currently involved in TV commercials, programs, and theater.
