Santiago, Chile 1980s – Camila and Paula are 7 years old, neighbors and best friends. Outside of their own four walls, the everyday life of children and adults is determined by Pinochet's military dictatorship – strict discipline, curfews, harassment & protests.
Carolina Cruz is a Chilean visual artist based in Berlin, and her interdisciplinary art include animations, illustrations and installations. Using different analog techniques of paper illustration, she explores how to develop characters and cinematic worlds, which are characterized by their forms of theatricality.
