In 2008, fourteen-year-old Doddy sets out to recreate an iconic zombie movie scene with his three best friends, armed only with wild ambition and a shaky handycam. Borrowed from Anji — his brooding, furious emo brother — the camera becomes their portal to chaos, friendship, and fleeting youth caught between laughter and rebellion.

Khozy Rizal is a filmmaker based in Makassar, Indonesia. His debut short Makassar is a City for Football Fans (2021) screened at Sundance and BFI Flare. His film Basri & Salma (2023) premiered at Cannes Film Festival, becoming the first Indonesian short in competition, and screened at over 100 festivals worldwide.
