13-year-old Khalil is consumed by fear over his father’s fate in the afterlife. Haunted by thoughts of heaven and hell, he sets out to find a sign. His search becomes a quiet struggle between fear and hope, driven by a deep need to know his father is at peace.

Seyed Payam Hosseini, born in 1990 in Sanandaj, Iran, holds a BA in Cinema and is currently pursuing an MA in Graphic Design. He began his filmmaking journey in 2007 and is now the CEO of Panah Film Company. Payam’s short film The Kites won the Jury Mention Award at Berlinale 2020. He focuses on children's cinema, supporting young filmmakers and children with cancer. His previous films have been successful at renowned festivals such as Berlinale, Cinekid, Giffoni, Zlín, and more.
