Director Details
Bahaa Alkadumy is an Iraqi writer and film director, born in 1979. He holds a PhD in Audiovisual Arts (Directing) and serves as a lecturer in the Department of Audiovisual Arts at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basra. Since 2011, he has been the Executive Director of the Basra Cinema Center. Bahaa has written, directed, and produced numerous short narrative and documentary films, many of which have been featured in international film festivals and have earned significant awards. Among his most notable works are Contact Us (2015), The Gun of the East (2018), and The Mullah (2023). He is currently working on his first feature-length film.
