Franz, 9 years old, is the smallest child in his class. Besides this, his voice frequently fails him in thrilling circumstances, leaving just a squeaky sound. He has numerous adventures, which oftentimes need innovative answers to the day-to-day issues of growing up. And Franz always manages to find them, usually with the assistance of his two best friends, the self-assured and outspoken Gabi and the intensely loyal Eberhard. He is eager to receive any and all advice! And if this wasn't enough, Franz comes upon an influencer one day.

Johannes Schmid
Johannes Schmid was born on October 23, 1973 in Vilsbiburg, (Germany). He is a director and writer, known for Silly's Sweet Summer (2007), Merle (2002) and Tales of Franz (2022). From 1995 to 2000, he studied Theatre, Film, German Literature and Art History in Erlangen and Munich. Since 2000, he’s been working as an independent director and author for screen and stage. Johannes Schmid is a member of the German and European Film Academy.
