Title:School Of Hope
Regular rain and snow formerly sustained cattle in Morocco's vast desert east of the Atlas Mountains, but the drought now appears to last forever. There isn't a blade of green in sight, and people go for kilometers to obtain water from a dirty pit in the ground. Despite this, the kids happily walk for hours through rocks to a clay "school of hope." Despite the harsh conditions, these youngsters are subjected to, as the title says, hope. A new school is being built, and the pupils are excited about the prospect of a brighter future. Many students express a desire to leave the neighborhood for a more sustainable area.

Mohamed El Aboudi
Mohamed El Aboudi was born in 1961 in Morocco. He graduated from Bond University Australia with the degree of Master of Film and Television. He currently resides in Finland and was awarded in 2006 as the best and most experienced documentary director by the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE. His long documentary, “Dance Of Outlaws” had its world premiere at Locarno International Film Festival, where it received the prize Premio Zonta Club Locarno. Other works of Mr. El Aboudi include long documentaries Fight of Fate (2009) and Netizen Mo (2015), and more than 30 short TV documentaries.
