Yet, the picture has a powerful legacy that is reinforced by emotions, bonds, and humorous moments. This rescuer shares stories about an elderly sick Chihuahua, a paraplegic French Bulldog, and a scared cat who found their perfect human friend. This beautifully made film is served with love and comes across as an absolute delight to watch.

Eva Matejovicova is an artist and animator from Slovakia. Currently, she is studying at Prague FAMU (Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague - One of the oldest and best filmmaking schools). Film Sanctuary by Eva Matejovicova won The Anca Award 2021 during the 14th Fest Anca International Animation Festival for Best Student Animated Short from FAMU.
