Title:Sauerkraut
A young guy wishes to ask a gorgeous Alsatian girl's father for her hand in marriage, but her father is a weird, unapproachable and frightening man. Quite an obvious situation to be in, right? But it just does not end there for him. Her father is also a sauerkraut master. Despite his ineptitude, the young guy chooses to walk the extra but dangerous mile and prepares sauerkraut to earn the hand of his lover. Well, quite literally. How well can his sauerkraut please the master himself?

Andréa Marszalek, Hugo Greiner, Maïté Dufour, Floraya Marlin, Alix Poirier and Camille Krempp have graduated from the Rubika school (Valenciennes, France) with a master’s in digital directing. In 2021, they co-directed the short film "Sauerkraut". This no-dialogue fantasy describes the story of a young man who wants to marry a pretty Alsatian girl and go ask her father, and, decides to cook him a sauerkraut in order to get his daughter's hand.
